3 Day Uganda Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari

This 3-day Uganda Safari in Queen Elizabeth with Africa Nature Trekkers Ltd begins and ends in Kampala. The park is situated in western Uganda and it among Uganda’s most beautiful game parks. It was named after Queen Elizabeth II – the Queen of England -. The safari will include: a boat ride on the Kazinga channel and game drives during which you will see different wildlife including hundreds of different bird species, 95 different mammal species and 10 different primate species.

Detail Itinerary: 3 Day Uganda Safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth Park

In the morning you will have breakfast, and right after you will be met by our tour guide from Africa Nature Trekkers who will brief before beginning the journey to Queen Elizabeth National park, located in southwestern part of Uganda.

You will make a number of stopovers along the way including one at the Uganda-equator where you will take pictures, and another for lunch in Mbarara town before finally arriving in the national park where you will have a game drive in the afternoon during which you will see various animals including waterbuck, lions, bush bucks, warthogs as well as elephants, plus several different animals. You will later dine and spend the night at your lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise On Kazinga Channel

After breakfast, you will head out to the Kasenyi track where you will have a game drive and see different animals including buffaloes, lions, elephants and different types of antelopes including the Uganda kobs.  You have lunch back at the lodge and in the afternoon set out for the exciting 2 hours boat ride on the Kazinga channel during which you will have a closer encounter of wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles and different birds like the like the saddle billed stork, malachite kingfishers, the pink backed pelicans among others. You will head back to your accommodation where you will have dinner and spend the night

Day 3: Return to Kampala

This is the last day of this 3 day safari; you will have breakfast, check out of your lodge and start the journey back to Kampala having lunch along the way and a stopover at Mpambire drum makers. Depending on your time of departure you may be transferred to the airport to catch your flight.
